Role Objective
- Main function of the role is to effectively ensure that the correct parts are supplied on time to production.
- Ensure all run switches are followed and supplied in line with the BOM.
- Ensure that all returns are carried out on a timely basis.
- Control material in line with ISO requirements and follow all production and warehouse process flow re
Key Responsibilities
- Receipt, safe storage, movement, and issue of material manually, and / or using mechanical handling equipment (i.e., pump Truck).
- Carry out stock checks of materials.
- Reporting any problems relating to materials or equipment to Material Controller or Section Leader.
- Reporting of any potential safety hazards to the Material Controller / Section Leader.
- General housekeeping duties and Health & Safety to keep work areas safe.
- Responsibility of controlling scrap + rejects.
- Following ISO procedures (i.e., bill of materials).
- Assist with any ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
- Good numerical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good flexibility and adaptability.
- A positive, enthusiastic approach to their work.
- Previous parts feeding and component knowledge would be an advantage.
- Shop floor process skills would be an advantage.
