This position is for a Live in carer who will reside with service users in their accommodation, be working along side a support worker to assist three males who have their own self contained flats.
Duties will include
- Administering medication/ safe ordering and storing of medication, liaise with GP where necessary.
- Light household duties, meal prep and companionship.
- Prompting service users to keep their personal appearance in tact.
- Assisting where needed to accompany with shopping, with outside professional health appointments.
The roles require people who have a positive outlook, people who can be proactive and can deal with service users in a calm, professional and most importantly empathetic manner.
This position would be ideal for someone who has worked in mental health/care, ideally people with the correct attributes will also be considered. Full drivers licence and access to a vehicle would be preferred.
