Job Specification
An events company in Guildford Surrey requires a temporary Event Assistant to assist the team during the busiest time of year. We have a very small team so need someone who can pick up the role quickly and pitch in where required.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the events team when required
- Managing suppliers
- Taking over responsibility for delegate pass bookings.
- Chasing exhibitors for final details
- Answer any questions from exhibitors regarding delegate passes/details for the day.
- Credit Control
- Be based on the registration desk on the event day, taking new registrations
- Help the team with event logistics, including lifting and loading items onto transport the day before and after the event
Must have the following skills and experiences:
- Excellent customer service skills and similar administration experience
- Stand out written and spoken communication skills
- Experience within the event sector
Job Type: Temporary contract
Salary: £14.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

- Guildford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
