GAP Plastics production team is now expanding, and we are taking applications for Assembly/Production Operatives!
The ideal candidate will have experience in fabrication, assembly, machine operating and manufacturing environments.
- Job title: Production Operative.
- Salary starting from: £11 per hour, plus 10% shift allowance (pay grading after qualifying period reaching up to £11.76 per hour + shift allowance) All overtime is paid at time & half.
- Shift Patterns: Monday – Friday, rotational shifts of 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm overtime opportunities readily available.
Production Operative role:
- Cutting uPVC profiles using CNC / saw machine.
- Reinforcing and welding the window frames.
- Attaching handles and mechanisms using hand & air tools.
- Beading and glazing the windows.
- Window frame handling, storage, and loading using safe manual handling.
- Carry out assigned tasks diligently and with close attention to detail.
