Data Analyst Office based
About the role:
As a Data Analyst, you’ll find yourself working to drive business intelligence to aide commercial decision-making. You will assist the Finance Director and be involved in creating reports, dashboards, websites.
Main Duties
- Proactively interpret data, analyse results, interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports and executive summaries to key stakeholders
- Work with department heads to prioritise business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- The inputting and analysis of data using Excel
- Checking and validating results using various tools
- Summarising and explaining processed results
- Formatting and presenting data sets from multiple sources
- Manipulating and linking data sets
- Produce performance dashboards and reports
- Support the development of other systems

Job Details
Basic Salary of £25,000 to £35,000 per annum based on experience
Required Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Good analytical problem solving skills
- An eye for detail with an ability to extract data available accurately and analyse to present greater insight and understanding that can help decision making
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint to apply analytical and reporting skills through using these tools
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Power BI etc), databases (SQL etc)
