Gold Rush Jewelers has an opening for a jeweler in one of our stores. Below is what we are looking for in a jeweler:
Must have 3-5 years of Bench Jeweler experience with a focus on repair work, please do not apply if you do not have any prior work experience doing jewelry work.
- Courteous and professional individual with excellent communication skills
- If applying for Watch maker, must be able to work on quartz watches
- Ability to multi-task with extraordinary attention to detail
- Energetic and confident with the ability to hustle under time constraints
- Passion for achieving growth and success
- Ability to work under pressure and willing to hear constructive feedback
- Punctual and excellent time management skills
- Demonstrated professional maturity (discretion, flexibility, and self-starter who can work within a team or solo)
- Resourceful and adept at problem solving
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Jewelry Repair
- sizing rings
- chain repairs
- earring and pendant repair
- some jewelry restoration
- Finishing of castings
- Casting silver, gold and platinum
- Replacing watch batteries
- Sizing watch band links
- Light fabrication duties
- Possible light stone setting, dependent on skills
- General shop cleaning and maintenance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
