We are looking for a full time CAD design technician to join the Hygenius team.
The role of the Technician is to work within the Pre-Construction team and to provide a wide range of design outputs. This role will report to the Design Manager.
The main tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Development of concept designs to produce working drawings for client approval
- Generation of fabrication drawings
- Production of layout & installation drawings
Key Responsibilities:
- Bespoke product design
- Generation of fabrication drawings
- Production of room layouts & installation drawings
- Liaising with internal & external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Attendance and participation at both internal & external design review meetings
- Compliance with ISO9001 quality management systems.
Key Skills, Attributes & Experience:
- HNC/HND or equivalent professional qualification
- Previous relevant design experience [preferably within joinery/fitted furniture environment]
- Sound technical background and detailed knowledge of CAD
- Revit experience desirable but not essential
- Strong work ethic
- Strong decision-making & problem solving abilities. Ownership is key.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a constantly changing workload
- Knowledge of and ability to apply value-engineering principles
- Proactive approach, passion to succeed and a desire to produce quality outcomes
