We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Day Service Support Worker to join our team here at iBC Healthcare based in the Birmingham B27 area.
Shifts:
Full time: 36 hours per week - Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays 9am to 4pm
Pay: £10.90 per hour

Who is iBC Healthcare

Our ideal candidate:
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience supporting service users with Learning Disabilities and complex behaviours
- Proactive person who can use your own decision making
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills
- Good Attitude and work ethic
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Empathetic to people and kind
- Good communication skills
- A desire to genuinely help other people and make a difference
- Full UK driving licence is essential for this role
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting young adults and adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, complex needs and challenging behaviour within a Day Service environment
- Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans and the care & support policies and procedures
- Identifying needs and preferences for each individual and providing personal care
- Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
- Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
- Be a kind, empathetic and people person who works well in a team.
