Band 2 £24,866 to £26,872 including Distant Islands Allowance
(£12.72 - £13.74 Including DIA per hour)
Due to the nature of this role there will be a requirement to be able to provide cover, including weekends and PHs, with salary enhancements payable up to £24.38 per hour.
Relief – as and when required
Opportunities have arisen to assist in the maintaining of a clean, safe working environment for areas of The Balfour in line with the NHS National Cleaning Specification. The post holders will be part of a team of staff providing cleaning and domestic services to the Balfour Hospital.
The successful candidates must have previous experience of cleaning, experience of dealing with people and the ability to work as part of a team but also on their own initiative. Good communication skills are essential, and candidates must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Previous experience of cleaning in a healthcare environment and COSHH and Infection Control training would be desired but is not essential as full training will be given.
