This role will include clinical and administrative tasks and will include travel between bases and schools and so access to your own transport is essential.�
The School Nursing Service lead on the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme for school aged children, this includes the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP). A core part of this role will include the scheduling of school based measuring sessions; provision of safe and child centred health screening sessions in school; inputting of data on to the child's health record; phone contact with families to discuss health screening outcomes and offer health promoting advice in respect of child's nutrition and healthy weight; administrative tasks linked to NCMP such as the provision of outcome letters to families etc.
