We are looking for a cook/chef with a minimum of 1 years experience in this role to join our small, extremely friendly team at The New Inn. While on the job training will be provided, we are looking for someone with good working knowledge of a commercial kitchen, excellent communication skills and someone that works well as part of a team.
The goal is to help preserve and enhance our reputation so we can expand our clientele.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Preparing ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
- Keeping a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensuring all food and other items are stored properly
- Checking quality of ingredients
- Preparation and plating up of hot and cold starters and desserts.
- Cooking dishes alongside head chef with the ability to take the lead in their absence.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
