We are looking for an easy going and reliable carer / PA to look after and help our daughter access community social activities two days a week after school.
Our daughter is very sociable and loves to play but needs help to do so with her disabilities.
Hours are 3.30 – 6pm 2 days a week during term time. We are flexible on which days but would prefer the same days each week if possible and can offer addition days / hours if preferred. We would also like someone who can take on additional hours during the school holidays.
All hours including training hours will be paid.
You must be be available to greet our daughter from the school bus from 3.30 at our home in Meanwood (LS6).
We are ideally looking for someone with experience working with children with additional needs, for example requiring assistance with mobility, communication, feeding.
Carer must be able – or willing to be trained – to take care of our daughter’s daily cares – specifically gastrostomy feeding, hoisting and changing pads.
