M-RIC is an ambitious programme of work jointly delivered between University of Liverpool and Mersey care NHS Foundation Trust (MCFT) over the next 5 years. It will have wide reaching benefits to the region whilst raising the profile of all partners as leaders in Mental Health Innovation.

The University of Liverpool is well established as a globally focused institution and has a long international history across research and teaching activity. The CDC seeks not only to develop a new data resource but a new type of environment with transparent governance that reflects the legal and ethical obligations to enable linkage of civic health data from multiple sources. This will give a bigger picture of health and wellbeing across LCR, while preserving residents¿ privacy and respecting their preferences for data uses.

Report to the Head of Research Operations for M-RIC and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders across LCR CDC, the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, MCFT to support innovation across key thematic areas
