Role Overview & Responsibilities

We are excited to share our opportunity for you to join the Nuffield Department of Medicine (NDM), HR Centres of Excellence.
The role of HR Operations Advisor is based within the HR Operations Centre of Excellence, where you will be responsible for supporting NDM staff throughout their employment life-cycle, ensuring employment practices are conducted in compliance with employment legislation, and departmental and University policy.
With previous experience of working in a forward-facing HR generalist role, you will have a track record of delivering a high quality service to stakeholders.
You will be qualified to at least CIPD level 3 (Certificate or Diploma), with Associate CIPD membership and demonstrable previous generalist experience that supports the employee life cycle, ideally obtained in an academic environment. You will have a well-developed and up-to-date practical knowledge of employment law, an eye for detail and excellent oral and written communication skills, preferably with experience of communicating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders with diverse professional and academic backgrounds.

This position is full-time, funded by the Department and initially offered as a fixed term contract for two years, with the possibility of extension.
